OVERVIEW
BACKGROUND
When we were young, we were more subjected to rigid and similar pattern of exam-oriented education. Nowadays, when people are planning their study majors and future careers, they are increasingly focusing on combining their interests with their future career plans, doing what they are good at and enjoy, and better realizing their value in society. (The value of interest)

PROBLEM
Many people are not able to keep a hobby going, more like an instant passion.
EG: Seeing someone else's painting or playing a good tune, they want to have a try. Or due to the real conditions, it is difficult to find a time and environment to develop a hobby, because illustration or clay sculpture requires a lot of equipment.
How could we enable people to form a habit and persist in it?
SOLUTION
The birth of a hobby requires the participation of a person's initiative, as much as possible to stimulate it, let oneself see it. Therefore, I created a hobby nurturing community to help people find hobbies, see their progress, enhance their sense of accomplishment, and better stick to their hobbies.
KEY FEATURE

1. Exploring Interest
discover your own interests and find your favorite among many kinds of hobbies.
I designed an art gallery flanked by finished products produced by each hobby to help observe the interest from the perspective of the result and thus find the right one for you.
2. Cultivate Interest
Enabling users to see their growth and perceiving an abstracted process allow for stronger positive feedback.
When people start to develop an interest, a bubble will appear in the astrolabe, and each time you exercise or apply your interest will prompt the bubble to grow gradually.
3. Interest Fruitfulness
Through the results of the exhibition and the combination of business, everyone can become an artist and art dealer.
When people's interests reach a certain level, they can set up their own workshops and also create NFTs of their own creations to sell.

How does interest essentially arise? How is it sustained or enhanced?
There is a reward system in the human brain that induces reinforcement for specific behaviors by generating pleasurable emotions. The reward system functions normally in the following states: giving action → getting rewarded → reinforcing action .
Brain's reward system
​Endogenous stimulation + ​Exogenous stimulation
Our lives are too convenient, and many survival behaviors are simpler than before, so the brain cannot find targets for reward. As a result, it can only seek stimulation and satisfaction from the outside.
Exogenous stimulation is the harvest we can get without any effort, such as information flow ads, entertainment shows, games, movies, etc. These things can temporarily deceive your brain to get stimulation. This will reduce our motivation to obtain "endogenous stimulation" and increase the tendency of "exogenous stimulation".
Therefore, The underlying reasons for many people losing interest are:

They have become accustomed to getting external stimulation from the outside, which suppresses their motivation to explore their own potential and sense of fulfillment.

Their past lives have been quite routine, with everything arranged by their parents and no need to think or make mistakes on their own.

They cannot find an internal drive to keep them going.
WHAT USERS SAID
We organized an interview and invited 8 people aged 20-30 from various different professions, asking them about how their interests have developed and the difficulties they have encountered in cultivating them.
We extracted the following pain points based on the interviews:

We have set our sights on the future world of 3-6 years from now. The arrival of the pandemic has led to more and more people staying at home. Children will also have fewer opportunities to play with their peers than before, and they may be more inclined to communicate with friends online in virtual worlds. At this time, AR/VR devices will also further develop and become more prevalent.
